Starting a Division of the LAOH

Are you interested in bringing the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) to your community? Founding a new division is a wonderful way to grow faith, celebrate Irish heritage, and serve others through friendship and charity

Steps to Starting  a Division

1. Confirm Eligibility

You must be a practicing Catholic woman of Irish birth or descent, or married to someone of Irish heritage.

You’ll need at least 15 eligible women committed to forming the new division.

2. Organize Your Members

  • Gather your group and hold an interest meeting.

  • Discuss the mission of the LAOH: Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity.

  • Appoint temporary officers to help coordinate the application process.

3. Connect with Leadership

  • Reach out to the Missouri State President.

  • Leadership will help you through the process, provide organizational resources, and guide you in forming your group.
