Who can join the LAOH?
Membership is open to practicing Catholic women who are:

Of Irish birth or descent, or
-
Married to someone of Irish heritage.
When was the LAOH founded?
The LAOH was first organized nationally in 1894 as the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. In 1984, the name was officially changed to the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH).
What does the LAOH do?
Our members:

Support Catholic charities, pro-life causes, and social justice initiatives.

Provide scholarships to support Catholic education.

Celebrate and promote Irish history, language, music, and dance.

Participate in cultural events such as St. Patrick’s Day parades and festivals.

Foster community, friendship, and faith among members.
